Joseph J. Ciuffo MD

Dr. Joseph Ciuffo has been a board-certified family physician since 1986. After completing his medical degree through SUNY Downstate, he went on to be a resident and later chief resident in the Department of Family Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, currently known as One Brooklyn Health.

He established the Family Medicine practice in 1987. Dr. Ciuffo is affiliated with the major health systems in New York, including NewYork-Presbyterian, NYU, Northwell, and Mount Sinai. He has assembled a talented team of providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized care. By remaining an independent practice, he prioritizes his patients’ needs and has access to the best specialists New York has to offer.

David Champlin is a highly dedicated and compassionate professional born and raised here in Maspeth. He developed an interest in Family Medicine, and began practicing medicine with Dr. Ciuffo in 2018 after completing his training at the Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program at Pace University. He is also an alum of Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, as well as Marist University. His commitment to patient care has earned him recognition, and he now holds the academic title of Clinical Assistant Professor at Pace University, where he continues to help train future Physician Assistants. 

Rosann Gregory is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and completed her Physician Assistant studies at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. She joined our team in 1999 immediately after graduation, bringing with her the invaluable asset of fluency in Italian to serve our community. Even after 25 years, she continues to provide highly skilled, compassionate care with the same enthusiasm as a new PA graduate. Throughout her career, she has built strong connections with our patients, earning their trust through her expertise, kindness, and dedication. She developed a special interest in cardiology, and when not working with us, she can be found at the prestigious, Saint Francis Heart Hospital, working closely with their highly recognized Cardiologists.

Colleen Petrere, raised in Forest Hills, Queens began with us as a Student intern. She later moved on to the Physician Assistant Program at Hofstra University, where she was highly recognized by her professors and peers, graduating with the highest honors in academic achievement. Her enthusiasm and professionalism are only eclipsed by her kindness.
When not working with us, you can find her working in the Critical Care Unit at one of Northwell's Major Hospitals. 

 Lauren, born and raised in Queens, is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Queens College. Beginning her career in the NYC Hospital system, she then spent 10 years serving as a campus dietitian counseling student athletes to achieve their nutrition and body composition goals at St. Johns University, Hofstra University, and Adelphi University. Currently she serves as an Adjunct Professor teaching Nutrition majors at Queens College, Adelphi University and Hofstra University. She is a dedicated professional passionate about empowering individuals to enhance a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition.
